Zencoder Expands Platform to Support Popular CLI Agents like OpenAI Codex and Google's Gemini
Zencoder, a leading AI coding agent, has expanded its platform to support popular CLI agents such as OpenAI's Codex, Anthropic's Claude Code, and Google's Gemini CLI. This integration allows developers to use their preferred IDEs, like Visual Studio Code and JetBrains, with built-in debugging and refactoring tools.
Previously, Zencoder was exclusively an AI coding agent for professional developers. Now, it enables users to leverage their preferred CLI agents within its platform. The new platform is available today, and existing subscribers to supported CLI agents can start using it with just a few clicks.
Zencoder's new features include support for building and sharing custom agents across organizations and deploying them into CI infrastructure. It also offers multi-repository intelligence, helping AI tools understand large monorepos. Additionally, Zencoder provides analytics features to help organizations understand AI tool usage and measure ROI.
Zencoder's change in business model aims to better serve enterprise customers and support on-prem deployments of AI models like Google's Gemini. The platform will continue to offer its own coding agent alongside third-party options, allowing developers to choose their preferred tools for coding tasks.
