Zeekr 9X SUV Launches in China, Garners 10,000 Orders in Minutes

Zeekr, a premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, has launched its latest SUV, the Zeekr 9X, in China. The luxury vehicle has garnered significant interest, with over 10,000 firm orders within the first 13 minutes of its availability, following nearly 80,000 pre-orders. The Zeekr 9X boasts impressive performance and features, setting the stage for its potential introduction in the Australian stock market today.

The Zeekr 9X is a powerhouse, capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in a mere 3.1 seconds. Its pure electric range stands at an impressive 380 kilometres. The SUV's performance is driven by the SEA-S 'Super Hybrid' system, featuring a 900V high-voltage architecture and up to 1,000 kW of power. The Haohan AI Digital Chassis ensures a smooth ride with advanced air suspension and active roll control.

The interior of the Zeekr 9X is a testament to luxury, with a three-row six-seater configuration and Cloud Lounge seats. A 17-inch OLED screen and a 3,800W Naim audio system enhance the passenger experience. Safety is paramount in the Zeekr 9X, with the Haohan Safety Armor system including the world's first four-way crash test at 105 km/h and crosswind control. The SUV also offers 'ultra-fast' charging, with a 20 to 80 per cent charge in just 8.5 minutes.

In the competitive EV stock market today, other manufacturers are also innovating. Xiaomi and Leapmotor plan to introduce new hybrid models with 80-kWh batteries, while Audi is developing models like the A5 Plug-in-Hybrid and the RS5 Avant, set for release in 2025.

The Zeekr 9X, priced at RMB 465,900 (around $A99,000) in China, has made a strong entry into the luxury EV stock market today. With its impressive performance, innovative features, and robust safety measures, the Zeekr 9X has the potential to make waves in the Australian stock market today, as confirmed by Zeekr Australia managing director Frank Li.
