Vintage-style camouflage-wrapped RTX 5060 brings a sense of nostalgia, although the integrated screen GPU MSI exhibited at Computex 2025 is more captivating for me.

Stop me in my tracks, I didn't see that coming! The MSI GeForce RTX 5060 8G Cyclone OC has got my attention alright, and it's all thanks to its bold, distinctive design. This bad boy's got the swagger of yesteryear, but with a modern twist that's hard to resist. Yep, I've been kicking it old-school ever since I saw the prototype at Computex with its flashy screen right smack in the middle of the fan.

So, what's this Cyclone business all about? It's like MSI's saying, "Hey, let's bring back the good ol' days, but with an upgrade." A quick late-night browse on MSI's website confirmed they've got a history of Cyclone designs, although how much of that still applies today, who knows.

But hey, even if this design feels a bit different from your run-of-the-mill GPU shroud designs, I gotta admit—I was swayed by the prototype RTX 5070 12G Cyclone Visual OC they showed off at Computex. It had the same wild, edgy cooler design, but with an added bonus: a petite circular screen. I'm still trying to figure out what useful information you'd put on your GPU, but I couldn't help but be impressed.

And let's not forget about that copper-esque appearance it boasts, making me think back to the iconic Zalman CPU coolers of yesteryear. We used to drool over those bad boys because they were so darn trendy and, as far as I can recall, pretty darn effective too.

Now, strap on those rose-tinted specs because there's another aspect that caught my eye about the RTX 5060 8G Cyclone OC—the arctic camo wrap on parts of the shroud. In my mind, I'm already planning out an arctic camo-themed PC build. I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it!

Take a peek at those two beefy heat pipes, looking like they're ready for action. It's a bold move cooling-wise, when you consider the RTX 5060 is already quite the chill-master. So here's to taking risks and standing out from the crowd!

Nowadays, graphics card coolers have become as common as dpdr clouds during a rave, but the quirky Cyclone OC brings some much-needed personality to the table. And who knows, maybe I'll jump on the arctic camo bandwagon and start a trend. Stay tuned for pics, because I can hardly contain my excitement!
