Utilizing the HIKMicro Stellar 3.0 thermal riflescope for nighttime hunting ventures
In the picturesque highlands of Northern Lazio, Central Italy, a group of hunters gathered for an event aimed at showcasing the features of HIKMicro's latest innovation - the Stellar 3.0 SX60L digital thermal riflescope. Among the attendees were Luca Basilischi, Marketing Director of HIKMicro Italy, and Franco and Fabio from all4hunters.com.
The day began with a reconnaissance of the hunting areas, revealing signs of nighttime wild boar activity. As the sun began to set, the hunters set up at a post near ravaged vineyards and corn crops, with a good view over some fallow fields.
The wait was not long before a wild boar was spotted at a distance of approximately 180 meters, moving through tall vegetation in a fallow field. As the boar came within 70 meters of the hunting party's position, it provided a broadside view.
Equipped with the Stellar 3.0 SX60L, Luca Basilischi took aim. The Stellar 3.0 SX60L, HIKMicro's flagship thermal imaging riflescope, features a traditional, sleek design based on a daytime standard optical scope. It boasts a native magnification of 2.5x and digital zoom up to 28.4x, providing a clear and detailed view of the target.
The Stellar 3.0 SX60L also comes equipped with a built-in rangefinder with a maximum range of 1,000 meters and an internal ballistic calculator, ensuring accurate shots. The riflescope was mounted on a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7x64mm Brenneke, and the hunt was successful. The wild boar was a three-year-old male, weighing at least 90 kg, and was immediately lethal after being shot.
The Stellar 3.0 SX60L's powerful capabilities didn't stop there. The sharpness and detail offered by the riflescope allowed for observation of animals moving at twilight, including foxes. The 1.03" square OLED microdisplay with a resolution of 2560x2560 pixels ensured a clear and vibrant image, even in low light conditions.
The event also highlighted the Stellar 3.0 SX60L's excellent runtime, with the device offering around 9 hours of continuous use. This makes it an ideal tool for extended hunting sessions or long surveillance missions.
However, the search results do not provide the name of the Marketing Director of HIKMicro Italy involved in the wild boar hunting in the highlands of Northern Lazio. Despite this, the successful hunt and the impressive performance of the Stellar 3.0 SX60L have certainly added to its reputation as a top-tier thermal imaging riflescope.
The Stellar 3.0 SX60L can detect game at distances up to 3,100 meters and reliably identify targets at 800 meters, making it a valuable tool for hunters and wildlife observers alike. As the sun set on the highlands of Northern Lazio, it was clear that the Stellar 3.0 SX60L had proven its worth in the field.
