Unveiling of iPhone 17 Series, accompanied by the introduction of AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Watch Series 11, by Apple
Apple has recently announced its latest products at the Apple Event 2025 held at Apple Park, California. The lineup includes the iPhone 17, AirPods Pro 3, and Apple Watch Series 11.
Let's start with the iPhone 17. The device boasts improved battery life, making it more efficient than its predecessors. Pricing starts at $799 for the base model, with the iPhone 17 Pro priced at $1099 and the iPhone Air at $999. The iPhone 17 comes in five new colours: Lavender, Mist Blue, Black, White, and Sage.
The iPhone 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch ProMotion display and an advanced camera system that includes an 8x telephoto lens, capable of zooming up to 200 mm. The camera system also incorporates 48MP Fusion sensors for all three rear cameras. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro supports ProRes RAW and Genlock for video recording.
The iPhone Air, on the other hand, sports a 6.5-inch display with 120 Hz ProMotion and a new 48MP Fusion camera. The device is made of grade 5 titanium and offers improved battery life, thanks to the Adaptive Power Mode. The Air's graphics, gaming, and AI capabilities are many times faster than before.
Moving on to the AirPods Pro 3, these earbuds are now equipped to measure heart rate during workouts and can track over 50 workouts in the iPhone's Fitness app. They feature Live Translation, providing real-time translation of foreign languages. The AirPods Pro 3 come with new eartips in five sizes and have an IP57 rating, protecting them from sweat and water. They offer eight hours of battery life and ten hours in transparency mode.
The AirPods Pro 3 also offer spatial audio, a new multi-port design, and improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that works four times better. They are priced at 249 euros and will be available for sale starting Friday, September 19, 2025.
Lastly, the Apple Watch Series 11 is slimmer, stronger, and comes with 5G connectivity, a Liquid Glass face, and new health features. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 offers the biggest display, 42 hours of battery, and satellite connectivity, designed for sports and adventure. The Series 11 includes a high blood pressure alert and a new sleep score feature. The Apple Watch SE 3 features an always-on display, a temperature sensor, sleep notifications, and fast charging.
All models will be available from September 19, and pre-orders start this week. The new A19 chip in iPhone 17 is built on 3 nm technology, ensuring faster processing speeds. Fast charging on iPhone 17 fills half the battery in 20 minutes. The iPhone 17's new Ceramic Shield 2 makes it more durable. The AirPods Pro 3's new design saves space and fits a bigger battery.
