The Nintendo Indie World Showcase 2025, held on August 7, unveiled a diverse array of indie games set to release for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 throughout 2025 and into 2026.
Kicking off the showcase was Mina the Hollower, a Game Boy Color-inspired platformer from Yacht Club Games. Scheduled for release on October 31 of this year, players can already get a taste with a free demo available now.
Another exciting announcement was UFO 50, a collection of 50 different games across various genres. This compilation is set to launch on Nintendo Switch later on August 7, the day of the showcase.
For puzzle enthusiasts, Is This Seat Taken?, a game about finding the appropriate seat for every character, is now available on the Switch eShop.
In the realm of action-adventure, Herdlings promises a thrilling alpine expedition, set for release on August 21.
A far-future survival RPG called Glacier is a timed Switch 2 exclusive, offering a world full of mysteries and dangers. Scheduled for release this holiday, players will take on the role of protecting the ocean.
Physics-based racing/platformer Ultimate Sheep Raccoon, reminiscent of Trials and Happy Wheels, is slated for a late 2025 release on both Switch and Switch 2.
The dark fairy tale adventure Well Dweller, starring a crow, is scheduled for a 2026 release on the Switch.
