Tunisian AME-B514 Bullpup Rifle Set for Full Qualification by End of 2025
Tunisian Military Industries Corporation (EDIV) is developing the AME-B514 Bullpup rifle, with full qualification expected by the end of 2025. The rifle, weighing around 3.5kg, is currently in the TR26A pre-production stage and was showcased at DSEI 2025 in London.
ST Engineering, the manufacturer of all metal components for the AME-B514, offers both conventional and bullpup options for future tenders. The AME-B514, chambered in 5.56×45mm, features a long-stroke gas piston with multiple positions and barrel lengths ranging from 14.5in to 20in.
The rifle's cocking handle can be switched to either side, and it boasts an adjustable buttstock with ambidextrous controls inspired by the AR-15/M16. ST Engineering is also focusing on the rifle's aesthetics to create a distinct identity. At DSEI 2025, ST Engineering displayed not only the AME-B514 but also new AR-15 pattern rifles and a 40mm grenade launcher.
The AME-B514 Bullpup rifle, a product of EDIV and ST Engineering, is set to be fully qualified by the end of 2025. With its versatile features, such as the switchable cocking handle and ambidextrous controls, it aims to cater to a wide range of users. The rifle's unique aesthetics will also help it stand out in the market.
