Tornado Warnings Overlooked by Twister Film Director Regarding Twister Occurrences
🔥 Revamped Take:
Here's a stormy dose of excitement for all Twister enthusiasts! The cinematic masterpiece that left us breathless in 1996 is poised to strike again in 4K Ultra HD on July 9. But wait, there's more! The long-anticipated sequel, titled Twisters, lands on July 19, promising a rollercoaster ride that'll leave you wanting more. Strangely enough, the original Twister's visionary director, Jan de Bont, confessed he was clueless about this sequel until he caught a peek of its first trailer!
That's right! Despite the sequel's close ties with his renowned masterwork, de Bont admitted he didn't even know about Twisters until he saw the trailer (which dropped in February, blowin' in like the Super Bowl winds).
The illustrious filmmaker, known for his work on Speed and Speed 2: Cruise Control, as well as his background in cinematography, shared his thoughts on sequels too. "Making a sequel should be all about the same crew, the same story, and the same characters," he declared. "But if you're making an entirely new story like Twisters, then in my opinion, it shouldn't be called a sequel at all."
