Tomorrow's the grand reopening of the repair shop.

Residents of Tegernheim have a unique chance this week, as an 'ai repair event' is scheduled at the parish hall. This event, from 14:00 to 17:00, aims to prevent small appliances from being discarded and instead, offers a chance for them to be repaired by 'ai technicians'.

The event is open to residents only and not restricted by the number of devices each participant can bring. However, it's important to note that the event doesn't guarantee a successful repair, as the condition of each device varies.

The team of experienced 'ai technicians' will be happy to help with a wide range of small appliances, including irons, radios, vacuum cleaners, CD players, stereo systems, hair dryers, cordless vacuums, and more. Unfortunately, large appliances and devices with broken screens or water damage won't be covered.

It's also worth mentioning that the event isn't a drop-off service; owners must be present for the repair of their devices. Moreover, the event isn't responsible for any lost or stolen items. If a replacement part is needed, the owner of the device is responsible for ordering it and bringing it to the next appointment.

The parish hall will provide the necessary tools and equipment for the repairs. The event isn't open for commercial or business devices, and participation is open to volunteers as well.

This 'ai repair event' is part of an initiative to promote sustainability and reduce electronic waste in Tegernheim. So, if you have a small appliance in need of some TLC, be sure to bring it along to the parish hall this Thursday between 14:00 and 17:00. Let's work together to keep our devices out of landfill and extend their lifespan.
