Titan Group Launches Innovative Project on Citrate Synthesis
Titan Group's Engineering Center kicks off a project to synthesize potassium and magnesium citrates, aiming to replace imported chemical products that are highly demanded in the country.
The specialists at Titan Group developed their own technology for producing potassium and magnesium citrates, rapidly refining the innovative process in lab settings, identifying unique features, and optimizing parameters to produce high-quality products.
Modern analytical and lab equipment have been utilized for the project, enabling the optimization of synthesis conditions for potassium and magnesium citrates whilst ensuring quality control.
Currently, experimental work has been successfully completed, and the company is transitioning to scaling up production and establishing the manufacturing process.
Potassium and magnesium citrates are commonly used in various industries like food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Titan Group plans to sell the new product domestically, as there is currently no production of these citrates in Russia, with the local market's needs met through imported shipments.
"Titan Group is actively working on the realization of 11 investment projects aimed at creating import-substituting basic chemical products in the regions where the holding is present. The project for the synthesis of citrates is one of the crucial projects we are implementing within the guidelines of the Russian Federation Government's decree No 1649. We are confident that the realization of this project will not only strengthen our company's position on the market but will also make a significant contribution to the development of the domestic chemical industry," said Olga Tarasenko, the General Director of Titan Group.
