TGI Sport & Mediapro Revolutionize CONMEBOL Ads with Geotargeted Virtual Ads

TGI Sport, co-led by Peter Adelfang, has inked a deal with Mediapro to enhance virtual advertising in CONMEBOL matches. The partnership, strengthened since 2010, will now employ TGI Sport's technology in geographical ad segmentation.

The technology, used in Spain since 2010, adapts ads to the region where the match is played. TGI Sport's servers at Mediapro's San Isidro hub insert specific ads for each territory in real time. This includes digital ads in areas like LED signs or the pitch, visible only on TV.

Mediapro Argentina, responsible for international broadcast signals in seven FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier countries, will leverage this technology to provide a tailored viewing experience for fans worldwide.

The collaboration between Mediapro and TGI Sport, led by Peter Adelfang, is set to revolutionize virtual advertising in CONMEBOL matches. The technology, proven in Spain, will now reach a broader audience, enhancing the viewing experience for fans across the globe.
