Tesla's FSD v14 Delayed to October 6, New Features Added

Tesla's long-awaited Full Self-Driving (FSD) v14 update has been postponed to Monday, October 6 due to a last-minute technical glitch. The delay, announced by CEO Elon Musk, will see the software roll out in stages over the coming weeks.

The delay has given Tesla's AI team the opportunity to add extra enhancements to the v14 update. FSD v14 will exclusively be available to Tesla vehicles equipped with Hardware 4 (HW4/AI4), leaving older models with HW3/AI3 stuck on FSD v12. Musk revealed the delay and new features on the X platform.

The rollout will begin with early access testers, followed by a broader deployment. Tesla plans to release versions 14.1 and 14.2 in the weeks following the initial launch, indicating a phased strategy.

Tesla's FSD v14 update is now set for release on Monday, October 6, with a phased rollout planned. The delay has allowed for additional enhancements, but older models with HW3/AI3 will not be able to upgrade. Tesla owners with HW4/AI4 can look forward to the new features in the coming weeks.
