Temenos establishes an Innovation Center in Florida, concentrating on banking's future developments
Temenos Opens Innovation Hub in Central Florida
Banking technology platform Temenos has established a new Innovation Hub in the heart of Central Florida, marking a significant step forward in the company's expansion and commitment to the US market.
The Innovation Hub, located in downtown Orlando, is strategically positioned near the Central Florida Research Park tech ecosystem [2]. The hub serves as a hub for innovation, product development, and talent acquisition in the banking technology sector.
Temenos, in partnership with the Orlando Economic Partnership, is making the most of incentives such as training grants and is connecting the company with the right locations and resources to foster growth [3]. The hub's focus areas include the development of AI-driven banking solutions, such as their Gen AI Copilot for financial institutions, automation in lending, collections, and sanctions screening using AI agents [4].
The hub has already onboarded over 50 new product and technology developers to support innovation in the US banking technology market and AI-focused products [4]. Temenos is also actively engaging with the local community through hiring events targeting students and professionals in Central Florida [1].
The new hub is expected to accelerate the delivery of enhanced digital banking solutions, blending AI capabilities with core banking modernization to drive efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enable financial institutions to launch products faster and more seamlessly [4][5].
Jean-Pierre Brulard, CEO of Temenos, described the new hub as being located in a growing tech center with access to top talent [6]. Barb Morgan, chief product and technology officer at Temenos, hailed the new Innovation Hub as a "game-changer" [7].
The Orlando Economic Partnership's support for Temenos is aimed at expanding the company in the region and helping it build stronger relationships with the tech community in Central Florida [8]. The investment in the new Innovation Hub aligns with Temenos' strategy and commitment to the US market.
The Open Banking Expo USA is scheduled to take place on June 26, 2025, in New York [9]. More information about partnering, exhibiting, and speaking at the Open Banking Expo USA, as well as registration to attend, can be found online.
Central Florida is increasingly being recognised as a prime location for tech companies looking to grow and innovate, according to Tim Giuliani, president and chief executive officer of the Orlando Economic Partnership [10]. The Temenos Innovation Hub is set to contribute significantly to this growing tech ecosystem.
