Telegram Introduces New Bot Verification for Blogger Roskomnadzor Registration
Bloggers with more than 10,000 subscribers on social networks must now register with Roskomnadzor. Telegram has introduced a new process for this, requiring a special bot verification after applying via 'Gosuslugi'. Failure to complete this step will lead to registration refusal and the need for re-application.
Telegram implemented this registration system in April. It involves marking registered channels with an 'А+' symbol. However, the exact date when Telegram introduced the process of registering channels with Roskomnadzor, following Roskomnadzor's requirement for connection with a bot, is not specified.
Non-registration will hinder bloggers' income, as advertisers will be unable to place ads and bloggers won't be able to accept donations.
Bloggers with large followings must now register with Roskomnadzor via Telegram, using a special bot after applying through 'Gosuslugi'. Failure to do so will result in registration refusal. This process is part of Telegram's efforts to comply with Roskomnadzor's regulations and ensure bloggers' income is not affected.
