New Skoda Kodiaq Unveiled: A Modern Take on the Popular SUV

Skoda has unveiled the 2025 Kodiaq, a refreshed version of their popular SUV. The new Kodiaq boasts several upgrades, including a sharper design, improved performance, and advanced technology features.

One of the most notable changes is the addition of a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, providing drivers with a more modern and interactive driving experience. The Kodiaq also features new LED headlamps, enhancing visibility and adding to its sleek appearance.

The new Kodiaq is equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged TSI petrol engine, capable of producing 201 bhp peak power and 320 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an AWD (4x4) system, ensuring smooth and powerful performance.

The Kodiaq comes in two variants: Sportline and L&K. The Sportline variant offers a sportier look, while the L&K provides a more luxurious experience. Both variants are available with the 2.0-litre petrol engine and 7-speed DSG transmission.

For those seeking a more fuel-efficient option, a 1.5-litre turbocharged mild-hybrid petrol engine is also available, offering slightly less power but improved efficiency. A 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine and a 1.4-litre petrol engine are available in certain markets, providing a blend of power and fuel efficiency.

The new Kodiaq promises a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl, based on ARAI ratings. It's worth noting that fuel efficiency may vary depending on driving conditions, vehicle load, and other factors.

The Kodiaq also comes with a host of advanced technology features, including a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and multiple USB Type-C ports.

In terms of dimensions, the new Kodiaq is 4,758 mm long, 1,864 mm wide, and 1,659 mm high. This makes it 61 mm longer, 18 mm narrower, and 20 mm shorter than its predecessor, respectively.

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is now available in the Indian market, with the Sportline variant priced at ₹46.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and the L&K variant priced at ₹48.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
