"Study-driven platform equips religious institutions with tools to assess and elevate congregational liveliness"
The Congregational Vitality Assessment Judicatory Platform (CVA-JP) is a groundbreaking digital tool designed to measure and improve the vitality and sustainability of congregations. This innovative platform, developed by FaithX, is accessible to judicatories of all sizes, including small regional bodies and large denominational structures.
The CVA-JP evaluates various aspects of congregational vitality, focusing on 11 distinct areas: Vision, Mission, and Discernment, Lay Engagement and Empowerment, Context Awareness and Inclusion, Change Readiness, Dealing with Differences and Conflict, Worship, Spiritual Life, Formation, Education, and Training, Outreach, Leadership and Organization, and Stewardship. These evaluations are conducted across 13 key areas in total, with the ultimate goal of transforming more lives through God's grace.
The CVA-JP addresses three critical needs: measuring congregational vitality against standardized metrics, allowing custom questions to address unique contexts, and assessing the effectiveness of congregational support/interventions over time. By doing so, it aims to support the long-term health and growth of congregations.
The Rt. Rev. Poulson Reed, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma, is one of the many leaders using the CVA and the CVA Judicatory Platform. For more information about the CVA-JP, please visit the FaithX website or contact them at [email protected].
For media inquiries, Steve Matthews, Senior Missional Consultant, can be reached at 804-402-2599 or [email protected].
The CVA-JP is a research-grounded, subscription-based online tool designed to help congregations thrive and continue to make a positive impact in their communities. It is a valuable resource for any religious governing body seeking to ensure the long-term health and vitality of their congregations.
