Stellar Surges 6.70% on Major Partnerships; Crypto Market Sees Volatility
Cryptocurrency markets saw significant movements on Monday afternoon, with several coins experiencing notable price changes. Stellar, in particular, caught the eye with a substantial rise following major partnership announcements.
Stellar's price surged by 6.70% to $0.2599, largely driven by the recent announcement of strategic partnerships with prominent companies at the Stellar Meridian Conference in Rio de Janeiro. The event saw Stellar link up with PayPal, Circle, Ondo Finance, Centrifuge, RedSwan, and Mercado Bitcoin, which likely contributed to the coin's sharp price increase.
Bitcoin also performed well, rising by 3.41% to $88,018.50. Other coins like Ethereum (up 2.55% to $1,627.18), Litecoin (up 3.01% to $80.13), and Ripple (up 2.27% to $2.123) also saw positive movements. NEO and Dash also experienced slight increases, with NEO rising by 2.02% to $5.691 and Dash up by 0.35% to $21.33. IOTA saw a remarkable increase of 4.16% to $0.1717. Meanwhile, Monero was the only coin to see a slight decrease, falling by 0.17% to $214.21.
The cryptocurrency market demonstrated significant volatility on Monday afternoon, with Stellar leading the way following its strategic partnerships. Bitcoin and several other coins also saw positive movements, while Monero was the sole coin to experience a decrease in price.
