Unleashing 'The Hustle' with PointsBet and Front Office Sports

Prepare yourself for an infectious blend of sports wagering insights as PointsBet partners with Front Office Sports to launch 'The Hustle', an exciting newsletter! This electronic goldmine will be served up to subscribers a minimum of three times a week.

Hailing from the land down under, PointsBet, set to launch in Kansas after making its U.S. debut in 2019, is joining the ranks of operators craving innovative ways to engage and retain customers while reducing the usual media advertising splurge. This move follows in the footsteps of industry leader FanDuel, which recently rebranded TVG Network to FanDuel TV and debuted a weekday morning show hosted by former NFL Network anchor Kay Adams.

Teddy Greenstein, senior editor and player development manager at PointsBet, will helm 'The Hustle' by tapping into Front Office Sports' in-house content creators. With an email distribution list boasting more than 1 million PointsBet subscribers, the newsletter is on track to amass an even larger readership — cascading down to all PointsBet clients, prospects, leads, and employees.

"The Hustle" is gearing up for its first release on Sept 8, timed perfectly with the onset of Week 1 in the NFL season.

Front Office Sports maintains an impressive subscriber base of over 1 million across various sports domains, including tech, finance, and sports wagering. With a total newsletter reach of over 20 million, and a valuation of roughly $25 million post a growth-equity funding round from Crain Communications in February, this collaboration is shaping up to be a powerhouse in the sports wagering landscape.

In other PointsBet news, the team has welcomed Edward Hartman as their new Group Chief Strategy Officer, set to kick off his journey on September 6. Hartman brings with him an impressive resume, having served as executive vice president for business operations in the USFL and senior vice president for digital partnerships and wagering at FOX Bet.

"We're beyond thrilled to have a seasoned executive like Edward Hartman join our ranks," expressed PointsBet Group CEO Sam Swanell. "Hartman's antique yet sought-after skill set will undoubtedly amplify PointsBet's success trajectory in our relentless pursuit of growth."

Hartman, who has also held senior roles in corporate development at FOX Corporation and senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at News Corp, FOX Corporation's sibling company, will assume the lead for the group strategy function and work hand-in-glove with the global leadership team and board of directors to pinpoint new opportunities and elevate our operational excellence.

"PointsBet has stormed the competitive landscape with incredible momentum and a fanatic team of industry heavyweights," Hartman shared. "I'm beyond elated to contribute to PointsBet's strategic vision, particularly in the rip-roaring North American market. I'm raring to work alongside Sam and the broader management team."

Stay tuned as PointsBet continues to shape the sports wagering sector with its dynamic moves and strategic partnerships! While it's still early days, the success story is already looking promising for this ambitious player in the market.
