In the bustling tech hub of Bengaluru, a new startup named Vaaree is making waves in the home decor and furnishing industry. Founded last year by Garima Luthra, Pranav Arora, and Varun Vohra, Vaaree is a curated marketplace that specialises in home and soft furnishings like kitchenware, bedding, and garden decor[1]. The platform sources products directly from over 200 export-oriented factories, allowing it to maintain quality and competitive pricing[2].

Vaaree's unique selling point is its AI-powered home styling app, *VibeCheck*, which helps customers make informed decisions about home decor choices[3]. The app allows users to create moodboards, style their homes, and have the products delivered within 3-5 days.

Recently, Vaaree raised $4.6 million in a funding round led by Peer Capital, with participation from investors such as Peak XV Partners’ startup accelerator Surge, All India Capital, Sattva Ventures, and the Asian Paints family office[1][2]. The fresh capital will be used to expand the AI-powered styling app, *VibeCheck*, enhance its fulfillment and brand verification (FABV) network for faster service, and deepen brand presence and expand operations into metro and tier-2 cities across India.

Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, Avis Hospital, a specialty centre dedicated to the treatment of varicose veins, has raised $2.5 million in a growth capital round[4]. The company, founded by Rajah Koppala, uses minimally invasive procedures such as laser therapy for treatment[5]. The funds will be used to increase capacity to provide specialized care, invest in technology-driven diagnostics, and set up mobile screening camps. Avis Hospital aims to expand its services to more than 15 Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
