Solar-Fabrik Launches High-Efficiency Mono S4 Halfcut BC Full Black Module
Solar-Fabrik has launched its Mono S4 Halfcut BC Full Black solar module, featuring advanced technology and robust guarantees. The module, available since early September, boasts impressive efficiency and durability.
The module, measuring 1800 by 1134 millimeters, houses 108 half-cells based on monocrystalline n-type silicon wafers. It utilises rear contact technology, keeping the top of the cells uncovered and enhancing tolerance against micro-cracks. The module's double-glass construction, with 2mm thick glasses, provides high mechanical load capacity and protection against hail.
Weighing approximately 25 kilograms, the module comes with MC4 EVO 2 connectors from Stäubli and is designed for 1500 volt system voltage. It offers an impressive efficiency of 23.27% for 475 watts and 23.52% for 480 watts, with a frame made of black anodized aluminum. Solar-Fabrik backs its product with a 30-year warranty, ensuring 88.5% of the rated power is maintained over this period. The module operates within a temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, with a temperature coefficient of 0.260 percent per degree Celsius.
The Solar-Fabrik Mono S4 Halfcut BC Full Black module is designed for both private and commercial rooftop installations. With its high efficiency, robust construction, and comprehensive warranties, it is a competitive option in the solar market. The company plans to release a successor model of 480 watts by the end of the year.
