In a recent update, Viwoods has released version 3.8 of its AI Paper and AI Paper Mini software, bringing a host of new features and improvements designed to optimize productivity and user experience.
Picking Feature Enhancements
The Picking feature, a cornerstone of the AI Paper devices, has received several enhancements. A new shortcut toggle now provides quick access to content extraction and note-taking through a floating Picking button. The Picking pop-up has been enlarged, featuring a transparent menu bar and a collapse icon that minimizes the tool into a movable floating button. The Picking window now defaults to reopening the most recent session for convenience.

The annotation tool has been updated to lock the current page for freehand drawing and annotations, combine annotations with pages as screenshots, support continuous annotation across pages, and allow compiling selected annotated pages into structured sets for knowledge organization.
