Shipment of Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 4 reportedly delayed due to unspecified problems
Google has announced that the release of its highly anticipated devices, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a, will be delayed due to supply chain issues.
Initially planned for an August 2025 launch, the Pixel 10 series will proceed as scheduled. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL will be available for pre-order on August 20, with shipments starting around August 28. However, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's release has been pushed back to October 9, 2025.
The Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, are also facing delays, but no exact release dates have been provided yet. It is expected that these devices will be released alongside the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or shortly thereafter.
The delays seem to be specific to more complex or supply-constrained devices like the foldable phone and wearable accessories rather than the standard Pixel 10 models.
In a teaser for its upcoming event on August 20, Google took a jab at Apple's slow progress with Siri's AI upgrade and called for users to "just change your phone." The event will officially announce the Pixel 10 series, the Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Buds 2a, and other products.
Rumours suggest that the LTE model of the Pixel Watch 4 could drop by approximately $50, and the potential prices for the Pixel Watch 4 are $349 and $399 for the 41mm and 45mm sizes, respectively. There is also a rumour suggesting a two-month wait for shipping of the Pixel Watch 4.
