Samsung Rolls Out Android 16 for Galaxy A34 Worldwide, A54 Update Coming Soon
Samsung has rolled out the Android 16 update for the Galaxy A34 worldwide, with the OneUI 8 update for the Galaxy A54 set to follow soon. Users are advised to enable automatic updates to ensure they don't miss these significant upgrades.
The Android 16 update for the Galaxy A34, with firmware version A346EXXUAEY17, is now available internationally. Users can expect a download size of around 2.3 GB. Notably, this update includes a security patch dated September 2025, ensuring robust device protection.
Meanwhile, the OneUI 8 update for the Galaxy A54 is on the horizon. In South Korea, users of the SM-A546B model (firmware A54BXXUFEYI4) and SM-A546E model (firmware A54EXXUFEYI4) have already received the update. A global rollout is anticipated soon.
While the Galaxy A34 and A54 series benefit from these updates, Samsung has confirmed that several models, including the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy A32 5G, and Galaxy A12, among others, will not receive Android 16 or OneUI 8 updates. Users of these devices should check their update support status, as it ends in 2025.
