Royal Enfield's Flying Flea inaugurates premier retail location in Paris
In a fascinating fusion of art, design, and technology, Flying Flea, the innovative electric vehicle (EV) brand, has chosen Paris as the location for its first flagship store. The city, renowned as a global design capital and one of Europe's most dynamic EV markets, represents both the past and the future for Flying Flea.
The collaboration, involving students, artists, and designers, included live art sessions and immersive masterclasses with key figures from Flying Flea and Royal Enfield EVs. Sarah Bouyssou, an École Duperré student, created installations for the event, adding a unique artistic touch to the proceedings.
Flying Flea is planting roots in a city that celebrates design, culture, and innovation. The brand, led by Chief Growth Officer Mario Alvisi and Head Industrial Designer Sivakumar S, is set to launch two new models, the FF.C6 and the FF.S6, by early 2026.
These new models are inspired by the original 1940 Royal Enfield Flying Flea motorcycle, a vehicle that played a pivotal role during World War II in France. The new lineup aims to combine authentic design with modern EV technology.
Interestingly, the development of these new models is being handled by a team of over 200 engineers across the UK and India. Flying Flea has also set up a dedicated manufacturing space at Royal Enfield's Vallam Vadagal facility in India and has filed over 45 patents to protect its innovative technology.
The cost of the FF.C6 is expected to be around ₹ 2.50 Lakhs. However, the pricing for the FF.S6 has not been disclosed yet. It's important to note that the article does not mention the cost of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, but it has a mileage of 36.2 kmpl and costs ₹ 1.50 Lakhs.
The Paris skyline was featured during a rooftop evening event, providing a stunning backdrop to the unveiling of these new models. As Flying Flea continues to grow and innovate, we can expect to see more exciting collaborations and developments in the future.
