Review of Secretlab Titan Evo SoftWeave Plus: top-notch quality and stylish design
The Secretlab Titan Evo SoftWeave Plus, the latest addition to the Secretlab family, promises a significant leap forward in gaming and office chair technology. This chair introduces several key features and improvements over its predecessor, focusing on enhanced ergonomics, material quality, and user adjustability.
One of the standout features is the L-ADAPT™ Lumbar Support System. This world-first lumbar support system adapts intuitively to the spine, offering superior support and promoting better posture. It moves up, down, in, and out, and flexes as you move, making it a significant improvement over earlier models where lumbar support was less adaptive.
The chair also boasts a redesigned Magnetic Memory Foam Head Pillow that cradles the base of the head neutrally. The powerful magnets used for attachment eliminate the need for straps or Velcro, enhancing comfort and aesthetics.
The CloudSwap™ Magnetic Armrest Tops are another innovative feature. These armrest tops can be swapped out in under a second via a magnetic system, allowing users to choose between heat relief or pillowy support. The armrests themselves are full-metal 4D, moving in multiple directions with a soft rubber or memory foam top option.
The seat base is sculpted to allow multiple sitting postures, including cross-legged or with one leg under the body, improving comfort over long sessions. The SoftWeave Plus fabric, a breathable, plush upgrade over previous fabric choices, covers the seat base, while the chair also leverages next-generation cold-cure foam for firmer, more supportive cushioning that maintains comfort during extended use.
The Titan Evo offers full recline (up to 165 degrees), tilt adjustability, and unmatched ergonomic features that adapt to various activities such as gaming, working, or napping. It features high-grade materials and a steel frame, contributing to its durability and stability with no squeaking or creaking observed even after long-term use.
The new Soda Purple colorway of the Secretlab Titan Evo SoftWeave Plus stands out, even in flat light. The chair comes with a magnetic head pillow and armrest covers and requires assembly with a hex key tool provided in the box. It is available in three different sizes – small, regular, and XL – and is priced at $569 in the US and £499 in the UK.
Overall, the Titan Evo SoftWeave Plus builds significantly on previous Secretlab chairs by incorporating advanced lumbar support technology, magnetic accessory systems for easy customization, improved material comfort, and extensive ergonomic adjustability, making it an excellent multipurpose gaming and office chair.
