Engler Automotive Unveils Limited-Edition Hypercar, the Engler Mosslr

Inspired by the renowned SLR Stirling Moss, Engler Automotive has revealed the prototype of its new hypercar, the Engler Mosslr. This high-performance vehicle is set to be produced in limited quantities, with only 75 units planned, echoing the production of the original SLR 16 years ago.

The Engler Mosslr comes with three engine options to cater to various preferences. The base model boasts a V-8 powertrain producing 740 horsepower, capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 mph (322 km/h). For a more powerful experience, the V8 Performance version offers an upgraded V-8 engine that generates an impressive 986 horsepower, capable of exceeding 217 mph (349 km/h). A Collector’s Edition, powered by a V-12 engine, produces 838 horsepower, providing a unique, analog driving experience.

The anticipated top speed of the initial version is 320 kilometers per hour, with the performance version reaching 350 kilometers per hour. Although the top speed for the Collector’s Edition with a V-12 engine has not been disclosed yet, it is expected to surpass the performance version's figure.

The interior design is expected to be lavish, featuring premium leather and a modern, luxurious aesthetic reminiscent of Engler's previous models. The car underscores a blend of dramatic design and high-end performance.

Victor Engler, the company’s CEO, stated that the development phase is nearly complete. Engler Automotive has already finished the CFD aerodynamic analysis and A-Class surface processing. The most demanding stage, research and development, has been successfully finished, paving the way for the production of the first Mosslr promotional and test vehicle. Engler anticipates delivering the first Mosslr within 6 to 9 months, following which regular production of 2 to 3 units per month will commence.

Engler Automotive is currently accepting deposits for the Mosslr hypercar at 20,000 euros, equating to 2.5% of the final car price. The initial units will be offered at €710,000, with subsequent builds starting at €790,000, reflecting its exclusivity and performance pedigree.

Although production of the Mosslr is still in the prototype phase, it is scheduled to begin in the coming months. For further automotive news, follow Engler Automotive on Instagram and TikTok.
