Paris 2024 Olympics to Promote Sustainable Mobility with Zero-Emission Vehicles
Paris is set to host the Olympic Games for the third time in its history, following 1900 and 1924. This year's event, taking place in July and August, aims to promote sustainable mobility. The city will tie with London for the most Olympic Games hosted.
The Paris 2024 Olympics will see a significant push towards zero-emission vehicles. Hype, an official sponsor, will operate the world's largest fleet of hydrogen cars. Île-de-France Mobilities, a partner, will offer electric micromobility vehicle rentals. Renault, among other companies, will promote electric mobility through autonomous shuttle services.
EDF, a premium partner, will ensure the Olympics accelerate the ecological transition. Enedis, another sponsor, will support this transition in Olympic locations. Toyota, a global partner, will bring over 2,650 electrified passenger cars for the event.
The Paris 2024 Olympics, after a 100-year absence, aims to set a new standard for sustainable mobility. With the support of major companies and partners, the event seeks to showcase and promote zero-emission cars and sustainable transportation solutions.
