Palantir Achieves GAAP Profitability; Oklo Advances in Nuclear Power Projects

Palantir Technologies (PLTR) has announced significant financial milestones, while Oklo (OKLO) continues to make strides in its nuclear power projects. Palantir achieved GAAP profitability and guided strong growth, while Oklo inches closer to its goal of providing power to data centers and defense customers.

Palantir's fiscal year 2025 has been marked by impressive growth. In the second quarter, revenue surged 48% year over year (YOY), building on a 93% increase in U.S. commercial revenue. The company's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) has transitioned from pilot programs to production deployments across various commercial enterprises. Palantir posted GAAP earnings of $0.13 per share and guided third-quarter growth to 50% YOY, raising full-year 2025 revenue guidance.

Oklo, on the other hand, is focused on developing its Aurora microreactors. While it has not yet signed a contract with the U.S. Air Force for a microreactor in Alaska, it has made progress in securing partnerships. Oklo signed a nonbinding 12-gigawatt framework agreement with Switch and was named the intended awardee for the U.S. Air Force contract. Oklo aims to supply the nuclear power that AI will need in the future, but it doesn't expect to generate first power until late 2027 or early 2028. Oklo has not yet generated any commercial revenue.

Palantir's strong financial performance and growth in AI software monetization are expected to continue, while Oklo's nuclear power projects progress steadily towards their goals. Despite not yet signing the U.S. Air Force contract, Oklo's partnership with Switch and its intended awardee status indicate a promising future for the company's microreactor technology.
