Mobile Wash Solution 2025: Speedywash Unveils Portable Brush Washing System "Basic Battery"
The much-anticipated "Basic Battery" mobile brush washing system by Speedywash is set to make its debut at the NUFAM 2025 trade fair in Karlsruhe, Germany, from September 25 to 28, 2025. This innovative system, which was first unveiled at NUFAM 2023, is a battery-operated addition to Speedywash's portfolio.
The Basic Battery offers a range of features designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability. It operates independently of water and power connections at approved washing sites, thanks to its integrated water tank and lithium-ion battery. The water tank can be filled manually, and an inlet valve prevents overflowing.
One of the standout features of the Basic Battery is its optional water-saving system. This system deactivates individual nozzles depending on the vehicle height, helping to conserve water. Moreover, the system can utilise filtered rainwater for washing, further promoting eco-friendly practices.
The Basic Battery is not only efficient but also versatile. It can be optionally equipped with an electric brush inclination for cleaning difficult vehicle geometries. Various accessories are available, such as a safety distance wheel to protect the vehicle's surface.
The system boasts a quick washing time, with the average truck wash taking less than ten minutes. It also offers a long operational time, with a full charge providing approximately four hours of use. Charging to 80% takes about 75 minutes, and a full charge takes around 110 minutes.
Transport Betz GmbH in Malsch has confirmed the positive reception of the Basic Battery by their drivers. The price-performance ratio of the system motivated the company to make the purchase.
The Basic Battery will be available for order with an introductory price, including the electric brush inclination. Delivery is expected to begin in September or October 2025.
