Mineral company LaFleur announces updates on Swanson Drilling project, purchases a crucial Swanson claim, and submits an updated NI 43-101 Technical Report.

LaFleur Minerals Inc., a company focused on district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d'Or, Québec, has completed seven diamond drill holes totalling 1,764 meters at its Swanson Gold Project since early July 2025 [1][3][5]. Three of these holes have already been sampled and sent for assay, with results pending in the coming weeks.

The latest drilling is concentrated on the northern part of the project near the Swanson Gold Deposit, which holds an Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate. The regional exploration holes are testing targets up to 3 km from the deposit along a major structural break [1][3].

Geological observations from visual core logging reveal several features indicative of potential gold mineralization. The consistent presence of pyrite and other sulfides, key pathfinder minerals for gold, has been noted [5][4]. A notable 17.9-meter-wide sulfide-rich zone was identified in drill hole SW-025-038, suggesting potential mineralization (true width unknown) [5].

Signs of hydrothermal alteration such as silicification, carbonate alteration, sericite, chlorite, fuchsite, and quartz veining have also been observed [5][4]. Structural features like shearing, stockwork veining, and brecciation, which may control gold localization, have been noted [5][4].

Overall, the geological features encountered resemble those hosting known mineralization at the Swanson Gold Deposit, indicating promise for further gold discoveries as assays are awaited [1][3][5].

LaFleur Minerals' Beacon Gold Mill, capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day, is being considered for processing mineralized material from the Swanson Gold Project and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects [6].

  1. The ongoing drilling at the Swanson Gold Project, a district-scale gold project in the Abitibi Gold Belt, is spearheaded by LaFleur Minerals Inc., a company also focused on critical metals.
  2. As geologists analyze the drilled cores, they find promising signs of gold mineralization, such as pyrite, fuchsite, and hydrothermal alteration, and observe structural features consistent with those hosting known mineralization.
  3. With the Beacon Gold Mill, capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day, under consideration for processing mineralized material from the Swanson Gold Project, the company is looking towards cooperations in the fields of finance, technology, and general news regarding mineral processing and gold production. Additionally, sports enthusiasts may be interested in the scheduled site visit to the Beacon Gold Mill and Swanson Gold Project in August 2025 for a closer look at the operations.
