The system reduces the number of thrusters needed to just 2, resulting in a 55% mass reduction, a 40% volume reduction, and a 75% cost reduction. The next iteration of Meta Futura Aerospace's product will be tested in the European Space Agency (ESA) facilities in the Netherlands in summer 2024.

The co-founding team of Meta Futura Aerospace, Pedro Rodriguez Lopez, Fabrizio Pisani, and Marcin Badowski, met during their Aerospace Engineering Masters degrees at the University of Southampton. The team is open to talking to investors, sector-specific programs, or industry partners with a proven track record of taking SpaceTech startups to market.

The propulsion system market is predicted to grow by approximately £3 billion per year by 2026. Meta Futura Aerospace is currently seeking to raise £2 million to fund the deployment of the first technology demonstration in space and patenting the innovations.
