Mercedes-AMG A35: New Affordable Performance Option Coming Soon
Mercedes-AMG is set to expand its A-Class range with the introduction of the new A35 AMG. This model will serve as a more affordable alternative to the high-performance A45 AMG, which is expected to receive a power boost in the next generation A-Class, due in 2018.
The A35 AMG is anticipated to deliver around 325bhp and carry a price tag of approximately £35k. It will slot below the A45 AMG, which is expected to cost up to £50k and offer over 400bhp, outmuscling the Audi RS 3. In Germany, the new A35 AMG is priced at around €46,990, with used models ranging from about €33,440 to €36,900, depending on condition and year.
The A35 AMG, positioned as the 'A45 Light', will provide a more accessible entry point into the AMG A-Class range. With its expected performance and price point, it is set to attract customers seeking a balance between affordability and high-performance.
