Marsh Announces Global Leadership Changes in Aviation and Space Division
Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, has announced significant changes to its aviation and space division. Brian Glod and Tony Ambrose will assume new global leadership roles, while Patton Kline has been appointed as the new regional aviation and space practice leader for the US.
Brian Glod, who has been serving as the regional aviation and space practice leader for the US, will now take on the role of global head of Aviation and Space at Marsh. With over 35 years of experience, including his tenure at Marsh since 1996, Glod brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. He will report to Andrew George, president of Marsh Specialty, and be part of the global specialty executive committee.
Tony Ambrose, who joined Marsh in 2020, will assume the role of global chairman of the aviation and space division. With over 30 years of experience in the global aviation insurance market, Ambrose will report to both Brian Glod and Dominic Samengo-Turner, CEO of Marsh Specialty in the UK. Together, Glod and Ambrose aim to drive the global strategy for Marsh's aviation and space insurance offerings, starting 1 September.
Patton Kline has been chosen to replace Brian Glod as the regional aviation and space practice leader for the US. Kline will report to Michael Pellegrini, Marsh Specialty leader for the US and Canada, and to Brian Glod. He will assume his new role starting November 1, 2025.
These leadership changes come as Marsh continues to strengthen its position in the aviation and space insurance sector. With experienced professionals like Brian Glod and Tony Ambrose leading the global strategy, and Patton Kline taking the reins in the US, Marsh is well-positioned to navigate the evolving risks and opportunities in this dynamic market.
