Mahindra Introduces Advanced, Efficiency-Boosted CEV-V Line of Construction Machinery

On August 5, 2025, Mahindra Construction Equipment Division (MCE) unveiled its advanced CEV-V range of machines, marking a significant step towards compliance with the latest industry norms and the government's sustainability goals.

The new range includes the EarthMaster SX, a versatile backhoe loader equipped with a 74 HP engine, a larger and more comfortable cabin, and iMAXX telematics technology. The EarthMaster SX complies with the CEV-V emission regulations, demonstrating Mahindra's commitment to environmental responsibility.

The upgraded CEV-V range also includes the RoadMaster G100 motor grader, designed to meet the forthcoming CEV-V emission standards. With a 102 HP engine and 440 Nm torque, the RoadMaster G100 is an excellent grader for road construction, particularly on state and national highways.

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., highlighted the government's focus on sustainability in construction equipment. The government encourages the use of green fuels, electrification, and hydrogen technologies to cut carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency. A zero-tolerance policy on quality and stricter standards for machinery and construction processes have been introduced to ensure durability and performance while supporting sustainability.

The industry is urged to invest in advanced machinery and digital technologies that support greener, more efficient operations. These initiatives are part of the broader mission called Viksit Bharat 2047, aiming at a developed and sustainable India by the country's centenary.

Dr. Srinivas's remarks reflect Mahindra’s commitment to these goals through innovation and sustainability integration in their construction equipment portfolio. The new CEV-V range offers advanced features, more comfort, higher productivity, and performance, redefining standards in their respective categories.

The CEV-V range of machines is a testament to Mahindra's strong commitment to the "Make in India" initiative, exemplifying their efforts to introduce cutting-edge products and technologies, coupled with an emphasis on local manufacturing. This commitment aligns with the government's broader vision of developing India by 2047 through sustainable infrastructure development.
