Mafia: The Old Country game receiving a new GeForce driver update
NVIDIA has released a new Game Ready Driver, version 581.29, bringing exciting updates for GeForce RTX gamers. The latest driver supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex for the highly-rated game "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33."
"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33," developed by Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive, is set in a dreamlike world where the story unfolds as fantasy and art converge. The game, one of the year's highest rated, now offers an even more immersive experience for players on GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs.
In addition to the game updates, the new driver also supports 62 new G-SYNC Compatible displays from various brands, including Acer, AOC, ASUS, GIGABYTE, LG, MSI, Philips, Samsung, and ViewSonic. These displays come in sizes ranging from 23.8 inches to 45 inches, offering resolutions from 1920x1080 to 5120x2160. Some of the displays support HDR, and they offer VRR ranges from 48-240Hz.
The newly supported displays include both OLED and IPS types, offering a wide range of options for gamers. A list of all G-SYNC, G-SYNC ULTIMATE, and G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitors can be found on the G-SYNC page.
Interestingly, the support lifetime for GeForce GPUs based on Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta architectures reaches up to 11 years. From September 2025, these GPUs will transition to receiving quarterly security updates for the next three years. The final Game Ready Driver release for these architectures will be in October 2025.
The enchanting soundtrack of "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" complements its captivating gameplay. The game has recently received an update that includes support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex, making it even more responsive for all GeForce RTX gamers.
The new Game Ready Driver can be downloaded from the NVIDIA app or GeForce.com. With these updates, NVIDIA continues to provide an exceptional gaming experience for its users.
