Law firm JSA bolsters its disputes practice by recruiting a four-member team from K Law.
J. Sagar Associates (JSA) has announced several new hires, marking a significant expansion for the firm. Among the new additions is Ayush Agarwala, a partner who joins JSA from Krishnamurthy & Co. (K Law).
Agarwala, who leads a four-lawyer team, joins as a salaried partner and will work closely with JSA's joint managing partner, Amit Kapur. The specific roles and responsibilities of Agarwala's team in Hyderabad and Bengaluru were not specified in the statement.
Agarwala has close to 15 years' experience advising on cross-border disputes and insolvency matters. The team brings valuable expertise in insolvency matters, which will contribute to JSA's ongoing expansion and growth.
In addition to Agarwala, Sanjana Pandey, Rishab Aggarwal, and Mayank Sharma are associates who have joined the firm as part of his team. Suvaaankoor Das has also joined as a principal associate.
The addition of Agarwala's team marks the fifth partner hire in a month for JSA. Rakesh Warrier, who left his in-house role at Zetwerk to join the firm in Bengaluru, also joined the firm earlier this month. Anurag Shrivastav, previously from Trilegal, also joined JSA.
The team's addition will help develop JSA's infrastructure and energy practice in Mumbai, and their valuable expertise in domestic and international disputes will further strengthen the firm's capabilities.
Harshavardhan Abburi joined the firm in Hyderabad, but the nature of his role was not specified. With these new hires, JSA continues to grow and strengthen its position in the legal industry.
