The Guangzhou Public Security Bureau (GZP) has received a significant boost in its public service and emergency management capabilities with the delivery of an Airbus H175 helicopter. This super-medium twin-turboshaft helicopter, known for its versatility, payload capacity, and advanced avionics, is well-suited for a variety of roles, including transport and emergency evacuation.
The H175 is an optimal solution for a wide range of mission profiles, such as disaster relief, search and rescue, public services, crew change, and private and business aviation. It has been in service since 2015, supporting the protection of local communities in China, and as of the delivery, 65 H175 helicopters have accumulated more than 240,000 flight hours collectively.
ZHANG Rui, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou and Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau, expressed enthusiasm about the H175, stating that it will enhance efficiency and provide an essential tool for the GZP's diverse mission portfolio. Colin James, Managing Director of Airbus Helicopters in China, expressed pride in the company's long-term cooperation with the GZP, adding that the H175 is an ideal platform for the GZP's critical public service missions.
The H175's arrival marks a significant step forward for Guangzhou's aviation industry.
