Kia EV4 Electric Sedan Launches in NZ with Impressive Range and Rapid Charging
Kia New Zealand has launched the EV4 electric sedan, marking a significant step in the country's shift towards sustainable mobility. The vehicle was unveiled during National EV Day earlier this year and is now available at local Kia dealerships.
The EV4 offers two model configurations: Light 2WD and GT-Line 2WD. Both variants boast an impressive 81.4kWh battery, providing up to 633km of range on a single charge. Powering the EV4 is a robust 150kW/283Nm electric motor, ensuring swift and smooth performance.
The Light 2WD Long Range EV4 is priced at $63,990 and comes packed with safety and connectivity features. Stepping up to the GT-Line 2WD Long Range EV4 at $75,990 adds luxury touches like a Head Up Display and a Harmon/Kardon sound system. Both models also feature a spacious 29.6-inch panoramic display and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities, allowing the EV4 to power external devices.
Charging the EV4 is a breeze. Using a DC Ultra Fast charger, the sedan can go from 10% to 80% charge in just 31 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime on long journeys.
The Kia EV4, manufactured by Kia, is now available in New Zealand, offering customers a compelling blend of range, performance, and luxury. With its rapid charging capabilities and generous features, the EV4 is poised to make a significant impact on the local electric vehicle market.
