The initiative, named Krishi Yantra Yojana, offers farmers up to 50% subsidy on agricultural machinery such as seed drills and rotavators. J&K Bank will serve as the preferred financier for customers purchasing equipment from Escorts Kubota Ltd. This collaboration is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting farmers' modernization and economic sustainability.
Customers availing finance through J&K Bank will receive an upfront discount of Rs 15,000 on all tractor models of Escorts Kubota Ltd. This added incentive is set to make modern farm equipment more accessible to Jammu and Kashmir's farmers. The partnership builds on a similar agreement signed by HDFC Bank and Escorts Kubota Ltd. in 2025, further demonstrating the commitment of financial institutions to support India's agricultural sector.
