The update addresses various issues, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disconnections, app icon display problems, and photo artifacts under certain lighting conditions.
The update resolves a glitch causing app icons to appear blank after applying a custom tint. It also fixes a problem that may disable VoiceOver for some users after updating to iOS 26. Furthermore, the update addresses photo artifacts under certain lighting conditions for the iPhone 17 series.
The iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro, manufactured by Apple with Foxconn as the primary producer, have been the focus of this update. The iPhone 17 Pro was unveiled on September 9, 2025, at Apple Park in Cupertino, with the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air introduced alongside it.
