Intel's Panther Lake CPUs Debut at CES 2026 with 12 Models

Intel has announced that its upcoming Panther Lake CPUs will make their debut at CES 2026, set to take place from January 6 to 9. The new processors, part of the Core Ultra 300 series, will include a range of twelve different models.

The Panther Lake architecture is designed for notebook processors and will be Intel's next generation after Lunar Lake. It features two CPU tile variants: 4+0+4 and 4+8+4, consisting of P-cores, E-cores, and Low Power E-cores. Four models are expected to have a large CPU and GPU tile with up to 12 Xe3 cores, eliminating the need for a discrete graphics solution in a notebook.

Entry-level solutions will feature a small CPU tile and GPU tile, falling under the U class and bearing the 'X' suffix. The GPU tile also comes in two variants: 12 Xe3 cores and 4 Xe3 cores. While the full CPU cores combined with smaller Xe3 graphics may result in less iGPU performance, it is typical for gaming notebook CPUs.

Intel will unveil the Panther Lake processors at CES 2026, with the architecture first showcased at Intel's Tech Tour 2025 on October 9, 2025. The Core Ultra 300 series will consist of three classes: U, H, and 'X-H', catering to various performance needs in the notebook market.
