Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) has expanded its installation amplifier line with the introduction of the UXA4807D, a versatile and user-friendly solution designed for professional fixed installations.
The UXA4807D offers a comprehensive input matrix mixer that supports multiple input signal formats, including Dante, four analog, and SPDIF signals, allowing for flexible signal integration. This versatility streamlines specification, integration, and commissioning processes.
One of the key features of the UXA4807D is its onboard processing, which includes FIR filters and limiter settings called Greyboxes. These preloaded settings can be assigned per output through intuitive software, along with user-adjustable EQ, limiter/compressor, and delay settings for precise system tuning.
The amplifier does not feature front panel controls to prevent tampering. Instead, all amplifier settings and control are done remotely via a web browser through an integrated Wi-Fi access point or a hardwired TCP/IP connection. For larger systems, multiple UXA units can be managed with EAW’s Resolution 2 software.
The UXA4807D employs a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) universal power supply that works with mains voltages from 100-240V at 50 or 60 Hz. It is ErP and EnergySTAR compliant, contributing to reduced operating costs, and recovers quickly from mains power loss, restoring audio passing from analog inputs within 10 seconds.
