PCMag has dubbed the HP SlateBook x2 10-h010nr the predecessor of the Envy x2. The SlateBook x2 runs on Android and is equipped with a Tegra 4 processor and 2GB of RAM. The device is well-built, though it feels like plastic, and features a wide touchpad for comfortable laptop use.
However, Notebookcheck.com noted that the mechanism connecting the tablet and laptop parts could be more stable. Additionally, trustedreviews.com found the keyboard lacking in feedback and key travel, making it less suitable for professional users. The device has a USB 2.0 port and comes with 16GB of storage capacity. Its batteries are not replaceable, and additional USB ports on the tablet would have been appreciated.
