Hero MotoCorp Reports Strong September 2025 Growth, Electric Vehicle Market Share Jumps to 12.2%
Hero MotoCorp, India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has reported impressive growth in September 2025. The company's electric vehicle subsidiary, Vida, registered 12,736 units, while total motorcycle and scooter dispatches surged to 6,26,217 and 61,003 units respectively.
The company's overall performance saw a significant increase. Motorcycle dispatches rose by 5% year-on-year to 6,26,217 units in September 2025, marking a 24% rise from August's 5,53,727 units. Scooter dispatches also witnessed a substantial 54% year-on-year increase to 61,003 units. Exports nearly doubled to 39,638 units, reflecting the company's expanding global footprint.
Hero MotoCorp's electric vehicle market share also grew significantly, jumping from 4.7% to 12.2% year-on-year. The company's total two-wheeler sales in September 2025 reached 6,87,220 units, an 8% increase from the previous year. Domestic dispatches totalled 6,47,582 units, compared to 6,16,706 units in September 2024. Vahan registrations also grew by 19% year-on-year to 3,23,230 units.
Hero MotoCorp's strong performance in September 2025 is a testament to its robust growth strategy. The company has not only increased its market share in electric vehicles but also expanded its international presence. With cumulative two-wheeler production crossing 125 million, Hero MotoCorp continues to lead the Indian two-wheeler industry.
