Geotab's EMEA Sales and Business Development for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) is led by Sincehl.

In a strategic move to bolster its market dominance in the telematics sector, Geotab has appointed Fabian Seithel as the Associate Vice President of EMEA Sales. This new role will see Seithel focusing on the expansion of the Transportation and Logistics industry across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Seithel, who previously worked at Sixt and joined Geotab in 2017 as Business Development Manager, has a wealth of experience in the industry. He later served as Associate Vice President Sales & Business Development for the Nordics, Central, and Eastern Europe.

Seithel's primary goal is to leverage data-driven telematics solutions to help logistics operators overcome challenges in decarbonising last-mile delivery operations. He aims to ensure safe and sustainable movement of goods through communities, and to make Geotab the de facto partner to the industry, delivering data-driven, added-value services.

Seithel's team will focus primarily on the Transportation and Logistics industry across EMEA, with a specific emphasis on delivery fleets. They aim to increase uptime and optimize cost-cutting and sustainability targets for Last Mile organizations.

In his new role, effective from March, Seithel will oversee the entire EMEA region. He intends to apply lessons learned from working with the largest last mile fleets to all organizations that move goods through communities.

According to Seithel, telematics is becoming a standard commodity in the delivery space. He notes that Geotab already works with the largest last mile fleets in the world, and he aspires for Geotab to continue to lead in this space.

Seithel's short-term ambition is to increase Geotab's success in the industry, particularly in the delivery space. He aims to cement Geotab's footprint alongside ecosystem partners, with a focus on the delivery space.
