Geneva Police Destroy Non-Compliant E-Scooters After Speed Limit Breach
An investigation has uncovered that the Geneva Cantonal Police acquired 15 e-scooters that exceeded the speed limit, leading to the destruction of almost all the non-compliant vehicles after an accident involving a police officer in San Antonio.
The accident brought the issue to light, revealing that all 15 e-scooters purchased by the Geneva police could reach speeds over the permitted 20 km/h. Despite the non-compliance, the identity of the person responsible for the acquisition remains unknown, as search results did not provide a name.
