Free E-bike/Pedelec Training Sessions Offered by Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel
The Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel is offering free 360 training sessions during the autumn holidays. The sessions aim to educate participants about the differences between bicycles and Pedelecs, changes in road traffic, and police-coding of Pedelecs.
The 360 training sessions will take place on various dates and locations across Wesel and its surrounding areas. On Tuesday, 21.10.2025, from 09:00 to 12:00, the Ida-Noddack GS in Wesel will host a session. Other venues include the Willi-Fährmann-Gesamtschule in Xanten on Monday, 13.10.2025, and the Gesamtschule Hiesfeld in Dinslaken on Friday, 17.10.2025. Participants must register in advance and bring their ID and purchase documents or bicycle passport if they wish to have their Pedelec police-coded.
The 360 training sessions will last approximately three hours. They will begin with a theoretical introduction, followed by a reaction test on a Pedelec simulator. The final part of the training will involve practical exercises using participants' own Pedelecs.
The Kreispolizeibehörde Wesel encourages all E-bike and Pedelec users to attend these informative and practical 360 training sessions. The sessions are designed to enhance safety and understanding of the rules surrounding these vehicles. Further details and registration can be found on the Wesel Police Department's website.
