Smartphone users are advised to adopt new charging habits to prolong battery life. Modern phones come with features to manage charging levels, with 80 percent being the recommended limit for iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15.

Lithium-ion batteries, common in smartphones, have an optimal charging range between 20 and 80 percent. Charging beyond 80 percent, or letting the battery discharge completely, can reduce lifespan. Many smartphones, such as Apple's iPhones like iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15, and Android models like Samsung and Google Pixel, have automatic battery management features that regulate charging to around 80 percent and monitor overnight usage.

To further preserve battery health, it's recommended to charge the phone only when it has used more than half of its battery. Using the iPhone 13, iPhone 14, or iPhone 15 while charging can consume more energy and decrease battery lifespan. Additionally, turning off the phone during charging can accelerate the process and charge the battery gently. However, leaving the iPhone 13, iPhone 14, or iPhone 15 plugged in overnight for too long is not advised, as room temperature can also affect charging performance.

To maximize iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15 battery lifespan, users should take advantage of automatic charging features, avoid full discharges and overcharging, use the phone while charging sparingly, and ensure the phone is not left plugged in overnight for extended periods. These practices will help maintain battery health and prolong the life of the iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15.
