European authorities introduce a fresh approach to encourage digital signature adoption within the tourism sector.

The collaboration between Wonderful Italy and Intesa aims to further evolve business processes, adapting them to the needs of an industry in continuous transformation. The electronic signature solution is part of a broader digital transformation strategy that includes solutions for compliance document storage, customer digital onboarding, EDI - Electronic Data Interchange, electronic invoice platform, international electronic invoicing, business electronic signature, electronic seal, document management software, and supply chain management.

Marco Schiavi, Guest Management Director of Wonderful Italy, emphasizes the importance of the flexibility and ease of integration of the chosen electronic signature solution in response to a diverse international guest portfolio. He states that the goal was to create a frictionless process, reducing paper impact and procedural errors.

The Intesa Sign platform allows for digital presentation and signing of contracts on-site during in-person welcoming, recognizing the signer through One Time Password. This innovation aims to accelerate the document flow and reduce waiting times during in-person guest welcoming.

The digitally signed documents are stored in compliance with regulations in the Intesa platform, ensuring security and efficiency. Marco Schiavi also highlights that the partnership with Intesa marks a starting point, with the goal of continually evolving business processes to align with a rapidly growing business.
