Esquisse Camera Unveils Compact Mirrorless for Q4 2026

French company Esquisse Camera is set to launch a compact, mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. The device, currently in prototype phase, is expected to hit the market in Q4 2026. Founded by Côme Courteault, the camera is designed to be weather-sealed and features a 20MP Micro Four Thirds sensor.

The Esquisse Camera boasts a 3.69 million-dot viewfinder and a 3-inch fixed touchscreen. It offers dedicated dials for exposure compensation and ISO, along with a clickable rear wheel for aperture and shutter control. Despite its small size, measuring 105 x 70 x 35 mm and weighing 350g, it packs a USB-C port, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The camera is priced competitively at $1,500-2,000 (£1,500-2,000). It aims to maintain a small form factor by excluding video capabilities, focusing on still photography. For more details and updates, visit the Esquisse Camera website.

The Esquisse Camera, smaller than a deck of cards, is designed for photographers seeking a compact, robust, and affordable mirrorless option. With its planned Q4 2026 launch, photography enthusiasts await its arrival.
